Invited state-of-the-art lectures given by RRUK people at the Vehicle Dynamics conference
The International Association of Vehicle System Dynamics (IAVSD) organises a biennial symposium at which a series of invited lectures are used to set the scene. This is the premier international event in the field, and at the most recent symposium (held this year in Berkely, California) two of the five of its state-of-the-art lectures were given by RRUK people:
"Control and Monitoring for Railway Vehicle Dynamics", presented by Prof Roger Goodall, Loughborough University (presented jointly with Dr TX Mei, University of Leeds, and co-authored with Prof Stefano Bruni, Plitecnico di Milano, and Prof Hitoshi Tsunashima, Nihon University, Japan.
"Discomfort from feeling vehicle vibration", presented by Prof Mike Griffin, University of Southampton.
