There are three classes of RRUK membership:
- Core Members – Investigators named on the RRUK grant, who are members of Council; those employed on RRUK funds;
- Associate Members – Those who act as Investigators but are not named on the grant or on a specific project; those applying jointly for grants with RRUK members; those outside RRUK who have received funding for rail research projects and would like their work to be affiliated to RRUK (subject to CMT/Council approval);
- Network Members – Those who are invited to join the Network, or apply to join via the RRUK website.
